I picked up a jelly roll on sale one day and put it aside.  One weekend, I started looking at patterns using precut fabrics.  I didn’t see anything that really sparked my interest and then I found myself saying “What are you doing, silly?  You are a quilt designer so design something!”  I set to work and came up with this pattern.  I had made half the blocks, then got distracted and put it aside…again.  I recently came across the box of cut strips and partially made blocks and decided to reawaken the quilt, hence the name of the pattern.  I hope you enjoy making this quilt, and finishing it, without needing to “reawaken” it like I did!
